Andy Dunn

Nickname: The pink panther

On the 210th birthday of this great nation, Andy Dunn was welcomed to this world. Nineteen years later he saw the light and began playing ultimate for the University of Michigan. Two years after that Andy achieved what most people in this world can only dream of. He made final cuts at U of M and was welcomed with open arms into the fraternity that is magnUM ultimate. When I say fraternity I don’t mean a bunch of dudes that do some really suspect stuff and think that they’re the coolest guys in the world. What I do mean is a true brotherhood, and as we like to say “I’ve got your back and I know that you’ve got mine”. Andy truly embodies this phrase. Andy is a great teammate and a terrific ultimate player. Andy has the speed to pull down hucks that people assume are overthrown, and he’s got the quickness to get point blocks and in-cut D’s. Before his days at U of M, Andy resided just a hop, skip and a jump away from Ann Arbor in the booming metropolis of Saline, Michigan. While playing ultimate on the side, Andy used his blazing speed to be a stand out for the Hornets while running track and cross country at Saline High School. When Andy was Dunn with high school, he made the trek all the way to Michigan where he is now studying mechanical engineering, but he is much more importantly, a member of magnUM.
