Growing up in a small town in Michigan, Justin Amara-Parent was an all around great guy. He maintained a 4.0 in middle school, had a wonderful sweetheart and as a freshmen led Lakeland High School to its first Mathlete State Championship. After going through puberty as a high school sophomore, Justin drastically changed from the loveable and cuddly boy nicknamed “Timberlake” to a man. He always tells the story of the time he woke up with what he thought was a snake in his bed but turned out to be just his muscular body structure. He broke up with his “honey-bunnie” just because, and turned into what some would call a “bad-ass.”
He started driving a motorcycle (with no helmet) and pushed his already Hulk-like body until he could bench over 255. To go even further, he molded a chain necklace out of scrap silver with each link representing a different girl in his life. His parents still loved him, but he was not the same son that used to babysit his baby sister for fun anymore.
After being accepted to the Air Force Academy, New York’s boarding college, University of Phoenix, and the University of Michigan, he chose to attend U of M for its convenience to his blood-brothers back home. He chose to major in Engineering for two main reasons. First, his friends brother said there was no way he could pass college and receive an engineering degree, and secondly because he had and still continues to have a dream to lead Michigan’s economy with a new type of motorcycle called JAPs that runs on 50% sweat and 50% spit.
He has inherited two nickname that he has wholeheartedly earned;
“The Trojan” or “Thrustin Justin”
