The gong sounded across the stone courtyard, and the people bowed and rejoiced, for their next savior had been born. As the mist rolled through the square and the paixiao played quietly from somewhere in the darkness, a figure could be seen raising a child above his head. The villagers all knew that this child, Kevin Yien as the gods had named him, could potentially lead them to an ultimate national championship.
Trained on a samurai sword, he soon was skilled enough to pick up a disc. His speed and stealth were ninja-like, while his throws cut through bamboo like hot tofu. His praises are sung all across the land, and his addition to magnUM can only mean that his blessings will be passed on to us. Look for KY to do big things this season, for it was prophesized in the scrolls 10,000 years ago.
